GT&T CELLULAR DEVELOPMENT CONTINUES APACE
GT&T has recently turned up five new cell sites in its ongoing cellular build out. Three of these sites are located along the Linden-Soesdyke- Highway at Hauraruni, Loo Creek and Kairuni, allowing for seamless coverage from Georgetown to Linden. The two other sites are located in Meadow Brook, Georgetown and Amelia’s Ward, Linden.
Works are underway too to complete additional sites in several other areas including Pike Street, Kitty, DaSilva Street, Newtown, and Sheet Anchor, East Canje, Berbice. When completed, these sites will serve to augment coverage and network capacity in these and neighbouring communities.
Our build out is not confined to the coast. Currently, our technical teams are engaged in activities that will culminate in the establishment of a site in Ituni.
Our continued rollout activities have stimulated much positive feedback about our network footprint and quality of service and our subscriber base reflects the public perception of the value we offer.
