GT&T has significantly transformed land line telecommunication in Guyana. We have converted the 11000 landline service we "inherited" in 1991 to a modern 150000 landline service. New telephone exchanges and infrastructure are features of our commitment to deliver on our promises to Guyana.
Old switching and other network components were brought into the digital age; fibre optic cables transformed the transmission networks. These changes have paved the way for you to enjoy a number of value–added services on your regular telephone line.
